Convenience Group partnered with Vision Truck Group to implement Feather Friendly® Bird Collision Deterrent Technology as part of the new construction at Vision Truck’s Etobicoke location. Over four weeks, this innovative solution was applied to the facility’s glass façades, enhancing visibility to birds and significantly reducing collision risks. The project reflects Vision Truck Group’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, seamlessly integrating ecological responsibility into the facility’s modern and functional design.
Design Details
The installation at Vision Truck’s Etobicoke location showcased Feather Friendly® Bird Collision Deterrent Technology, an advanced solution that enhances the visibility of glass to birds without compromising the building’s modern aesthetic.
This pattern is part of their bird collision deterrent technologies, designed to make glass visible to birds and reduce collisions. Feather Friendly® markers are small, adhesive dots applied in a precise pattern, ensuring they remain discreet to human occupants while providing an effective visual cue for birds. These markers are durable, weather-resistant, and designed for long-term performance, making them an ideal choice for high-traffic or industrial facilities.
At Vision Truck, this innovative application complemented the sleek architectural design while addressing functional needs, resulting in a seamless integration of practicality and style.
